A green little frog sat in the sun
Chew gum- chew gum- chew gum-chew gum;
Close to a clump in a willow marsh
Qui-arsh qui-arsh qui-arsh qui-arsh.
The wind blew over the willows tall
Eio-oll eio-oll- eio-oll- eio-oll.
His legs were long and he was green
G-umm g-umm g-umm g-umm g-umm.
But he sits alone from sun to sun-
Ger –bum ger-bum ger-bum ger-bum,
Except for him it’s quiet here
Q-eer q-eer q-eer q-eer.
There are bugs and flies and the water
W attle w-attle w-attle w-attle,
It’s all sweet music for a frog
Ger-blog ger-blog ger-blog ger-blog
Should any one wiggle the grass near by
This frog would hop away sky high,
Or he’s dive to some more hidden spot
And there he would chew as like as not
Or quickly he would catch a fly
As his long tongue goes a-popping by.
